Giving Direct

Isaiah had a vision. His response was, “Here am I, Lord, send me.” Isaiah was lucky he got a word in. In this new millennium society moves fast…

Your boss expects you to work Sundays, the footy team can’t always do without you and you hope God understands that your son just made the district schools soccer final and the big event is on … you guessed it … Sunday! But that doesn’t mean you want to drop out of church and it doesn’t mean you want to give up supporting the mission of your congregation.

Now there’s a way for you to regularly support what your congregation does — no matter where you are on Sundays. It’s called Giving Direct.

What is Giving Direct?

Giving Direct is an easy way for you to make your regular offering for your congregation’s ministry — by direct debit or electronic funds transfer (EFT).
There are no service fees and no hidden costs. 100 per cent of what you give goes to the life of your church.

Your bank charges you much lower fees for direct debits than it does for periodical payments. So you can easily afford to support your church this way.

Here’s how it works — it’s easy

You choose how much to give and when you want the money transferred. This can be as often or as seldom as you like.

You fill out a form and provide your account details straight to Uniting Financial Services.

You can sign up for Giving Direct — or quit! — any time you choose.

Your congregation gets regular statements and it doesn’t pay a cent for the service.

Your name and details don’t appear on the statement. Your contribution is totally anonymous.

You can also give direct to other Uniting Church programs or Living is Giving projects through Giving Direct.
